Roster Announced for UKIC Season 6!

Our official roster for our first tournament!

The wait is over — the GamblingAddicts are officially locked in and ready to compete. As we gear up for our debut in UKIC Season 6, we’re excited to introduce the roster that will carry the torch in our first competitive chapter.

🔥 Here’s the starting five for GamblingAddicts:

  • IGL / AWPer – “jafra (C)”: The brain behind our plays and the sharpest shot on the server. Jafra's leadership and precision AWPing anchor the team through every round.
  • Entry Fragger – “FINN2187”: Charging headfirst into the action, Finn is our space-maker and chaos-creator, opening sites with confidence and raw mechanical skill.
  • Lurker – “Hughie”: Silent but deadly. Hughie thrives in the shadows, always one step ahead of the enemy and deadly on the flank.
  • Support – “Wolfgang”: The glue of the squad. Wolfgang sets the pace with clutch utility and perfectly timed trades, always there when it matters most.
  • Anchor – “Gadg3tz”: Gadg3tz holds the line with calm precision, locking down bombsites under pressure as the last line of defense and stops any flanks. .

With an average age of just 17.4, we may be young — but we’re hungry. The team has been grinding hard, preparing to prove that talent, dedication, and fearless energy can go toe-to-toe with the scene’s best.

💬 “We’ve been putting in the work and we’re not here to make up numbers — we’re here to make a statement.” – Jafra, Team Captain

As we step into our first tournament, we’re ready to showcase what GamblingAddicts is all about: aggression, creativity, and unity.

Stay tuned for match updates, highlights, and more as we make our UKIC debut. Let’s make this season unforgettable.

GamblingAddicts Roster Changes

Roster Shuffle: Gambling Addicts Bench FINN2187 and Gadg3tz, Sign Riptde and Matalys

LAS VEGAS — In a move aimed at revitalizing their standing in the professional Counter-Strike 2 circuit, Gambling Addicts have announced a significant overhaul of their starting lineup. The organization confirmed today that veterans Finn "FINN2187" Lucas and Lawrence "Gadg3tz" have been moved to the bench, effective immediately.

Stepping into the vacant roles are two of the region's most discussed names: the clinical Max "Riptde" Niell and the high-ceiling rookie Matty "Matalys" Lysik.

The Vision: A New Strategic Identity
The departure of FINN2187 and Gadg3tz marks the end of a tenured chapter for the Addicts. While the duo provided veteran stability, the team’s recent stagnation in Tier 2 qualifiers prompted IGL LT_Hazel to push for a more explosive, versatile "double-closer" system.

"Finn and Lawrence have been the backbone of this culture," said Team Manager Marcus 'HighRoller' Vance. "But looking at the current CS2 meta, we needed more proactive playmaking. By bringing in Riptde and Matalys, we’re shifting toward a faster, more adaptive style of Counter-Strike."

Exclusive Interview: Max "Riptde" Niell
"We aren't here to play safe." Known for his aggressive lurking and 1vX clutch potential, Riptde joins after a standout performance with Undercurrent.

"I’ve watched this team for a while. They have the structure, but I felt like they were missing that 'X-factor.' Joining a core with LT_Hazel at the helm was a no-brainer. I’m here to be that late-round chaos."

Exclusive Interview: Matty "Matalys" Lysik
"The Wildcard." A true rookie discovery, Matalys was plucked directly from the high-level FACEIT leaderboards with zero professional team experience.

"Honestly? It’s surreal. A few months ago, I was just clicking heads in my bedroom. To be sitting here next to guys like Hughie—a player I’ve watched for years—is a huge 'pinch-me' moment. LT_Hazel has been really patient, telling me, 'We signed you for your hands, I’ll provide the brain.'"

The 2026 Gambling Addicts Active Roster
• LT_Hazel (IGL)
• Wolfgang (Closer)
• Hughie (AWP)
• Riptde (Closer/Lurker)
• Matalys (Flex Rifle)

Looking Ahead
The new-look Gambling Addicts will debut this weekend in the ESL Challenger League qualifiers. With Hughie holding the big green gun and a dual-threat lurking system, the Addicts are betting big on firepower.
